Archer Nash

This was the first story I ever had professionally published.  The idea came to me one day when I was sitting in traffic and fuming that it wasn't moving.  Anyone who is prone to road rage like I am will appreciate the desire to...ahem..."get rid of" - so to speak-...the person in the car in front of you.  That thought turned into this story.  The magazine that published it soon went under - "Nibbler" R.I.P. - but it gave me my first credit, so I'll always remember them. - ACN

This is the final project for my first semester in the Masters of Creative Writing program at Wilkes University.  The semester was hard, but I think I picked up a lot of good info, new habits and ideas, and new ways of looking at my work.  - ACN

Wages of Sin

I keep notebooks and lists with all the ideas I have that I don't jump on immediately.  Been doing it for years.  A little while ago, I was reading through one of those lists and found the idea that sparked this story.  Apparently, I was on some medication that was giving me some jacked-up dreams. I had one of a woman punished for a crime by sprouting additional arms.  I wrote that idea down, read it years later, and was inspired to get demented.  I hope you enjoy it.
